Our mission is to help save the lives of pit bulls, even if it is one rescue at a time, and to raise awareness! The Pit Stop Rescue is an all-volunteer group of individuals dedicated to the rescue and prevention of abuse, neglect, and exploitation of these beautiful, loyal, and fun-loving dogs. We are a certified Non-Profit foster based organization with fosters all over southern Louisiana. These areas include East & West Baton Rouge, Terrebonne Parish, Ascension Parish, Livingston Parish, New Orleans and surrounding areas. The Pit Stop Rescue is a rescue group formed to be a voice and a safe haven for the very misunderstood, neglected and abused pit bull breed.
